Welcome to the mind and world of Beverly Sims, whom many of you have known as Granimal over the years.  My new website reflects something new and far more exciting.  It is what I should have been doing for years ... Writing

I am working on my fifth full length novel.  Three are at publishers now, one is waiting in the wings and the current one has a long way to go. A trilogy of Lust stories will also be available soon. There are several more novels and stores hidden away in the dark recesses of my computer, just waiting for me to get back to them.  Or rather, for them to get back to me.  My characters lead my fingers on the keyboard to their paths' in each of my books. Sometimes even I am surprised at what they do ... like an unexpected drowning or a menage or a murder or two.

Whatever I am working on is but one idea.  Whirling inside my head are ideas for dozens of other novels, novellas, and short stories.  A place we visit, an unusual name, an off-beat person I meet, a street name, or something someone says may trigger an idea for something new and different.  My new favorite is a bumpy, sandy street called Squid Way on the Florida coast, just an hour or so drive from where we live.  Think of the endless possibilities for that little road.

The idea of writing was always in the back of my mind, but until a good friend said she thought I should try to try my hand at it ala Rosemary Rodgers, and other incredible romance writers.  I was an English major way back when...never mind how far back.  Now I reside in Florida with husband Bob and spoiled rotten black cat known as Ridley.  Sometimes he actually answers to it.
